Today I had the pleasure to fish with another SoCal Youtuber for her first ever Lingcod. We were fortunate to have great weather condition readings of 3 feet swells with 11 second periods and a 2-3MPH winds allowing us to hug the Marin Coast up north to the Duxbury Point area, we caught lots of Rockfish and did manage to find Lingcod in the mix. The keeper Lings were all finding Bob's line and the undersized Lings unfortunately, Faline's. We battled hard at the end of the day to almost get her first keeper and she didn't give up trying so I matched her energy and kept grinding it out with her, though as close as we were at the end of the day, we could not get a break for her go home fish being exactly 1/4 inch shy of her first keeper! I hope you all enjoy the video and don't forget to check our her channel if your are interested in knowing how the SoCal fishery differs from the NoCal fishery.
..... SEE YOU ON THE WATER!
